Best Pop Video was Awarded To Pop Queen "Britney Spears " For "Till The World Ends" As Well as Honoured With "Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award " For His Services To Pop music.

To Surprise There Were No Host This Time (Which Happened in 2004 and 2007).
 During The Presentations Stars And Musicians Both Presented And Intoduced musical Acts.

Apart From The Performances A Speical Tribute To Nomine And Fourtime Vma Winner Britney Spears was Featured.A tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse took place. Russell Brand delivered a monologue on his thoughts on her. After that Tony Bennett previewed his collaboration with her for his album Duets II. Afterwards Bruno Mars performed Valerie in honor of her, which received a standing ovation.
